eyesYour content marketing strategy is one of the most important elements for the marketing plan. Producing high quality blogs, SlideShare’s and infographics has never been more important so you can get your name out there.

To help you out with producing that top notch content – here is a nice little acronym to give you a nod into the right direction.

Click through – By having a link on each blog to your website home page or to another section of the website where you would like traffic to go for – then this increases the chance of converting this visitor into a paying customer. This is possibly one of the most important aspects of the blog post as a whole.

Original – Your content has to be original and cannot be copied from anywhere – with Google punishing sites with duplicate content in the rankings it is even more important to be producing original content.

Newsworthy – Make your content topical and this way you will receive the optimum amount of social shares – what is newsworthy in your sector or industry and what will make that audience read it? An SEO rich title will make the content even more sharable.

Teach – Having posts where the audience take something away from it and learn from something means that they are more likely to subscribe/revisit your blog. Make it informative yet entertaining at the same time.

Engaging – Engage your audience, not engaging them will mean they are more likely to exit the post without clicking through to your website. Producing content just for the sake of it is not the right way to approach your content marketing strategy – produce meaningful content that will engage the reader.

Noticeable – Make your content noticeable to the search engines. Adding appropriate tags and keywords will make your content more noticeable on the search engines making the content more accessible.

Tweetable – Have a plugin enabled so it is even easier for the audience to distribute it around the social media networks. You can then monitor which posts attracts the most social shares and then adapt your content to suit the more popular topics.
