I am going to share with you the top 3 reasons people don’t buy from you when they read your sales copy.  This lesson is going to be paramount to your marketing if you take action on what I have to tell you in this blog post.

Are you ready?  Here they are:

1) They don’t want what you’re selling.

This is probably the #1 reason most marketers fail.  They misjudge their market and assume they can throw up a website and start raking in sales.

For example, you probably cannot sell a knitting course to a room full of golfers who are looking to shave 10 strokes off their golf game.

So if your sales are struggling then you need to ask yourself, “Is this something my market really WANTS?”

2) They want want you’re selling but aren’t willing to pay money for it.

Getting someone to yank out their wallet and give you their money is one of the hardest things you can do. That’s why good copywriters get paid a lot.

A prospect could WANT what you have, but if you do a poor job selling the product by not answering objections, building value, etc. they will not give you their money!

3) They do not believe or trust you.

This is especially prevalent online where it’s common for people to hide behind fake names and make up fake testimonials.  People are inherently skeptical when they’re shopping online so you need to make sure your target audience trusts you.

How do you do this?  You can give testimonials and case studies of people who have experienced the benefits of using your product/service.  You can also talk about yourself and share your story so people can bond with you and trust you more.

So if your sales are struggling think about these 3 reasons and which ones apply to you. It could mean a lot to your bottom line.
